How To : E-Mail~
Posted by GiLliHi Hi Hi Hello Hi Hi Hi =P
do u know how create an electronic mail (e-mail) ? or how to reply or so on? Electronic mail @ e-mail is an alternative for one to send anything except goods and foods through internet like letters, pictures even a video clip! Nowadays there are so many free e-mail provider like AOL,Yahoo!, GMail and Live (previously known as Hotmail)..do u got ur e-mail? if not then go and get one!
Among these the most famous e-mail provider is Yahoo!, GMail and Live. But do u know how to create or reply to an e-mail? before that.. 1st of all u should know what do u have when u clicked compose a new mail…
Yahoo!
Live Mail
GMail
If you try to observe all those screenshots of e-mail provider u should notice the same fields that almost all e-mail provider have in their compose new e-mail tool. And FYI, the box that i highlighted with red color is the part that i will explain later..
1st of all.. the [ To : ] field. in this field is where u insert the recipient’s e-mail address.. u can insert multiple recipients…when u try to send an e-mail without a recipient in [To : ].. it will state the error
2nd is the most important thing that is [Cc: ] and [Bcc: ] . Most of u don’t know what those thing is for and what does it stands for.. Cc is abbreviation of ” carbon copy” in this field u can insert anyone u wish to receive the copy of the mail you want to send. while Bcc stands for ” blind carbon copy” and FYI.. it does the same things.. u put the recipient’s e-mail address that u wish to have a copy of the e-mail. the difference is.. when u put a recipient in Cc field.. the original recipient (which is the person u put in [To: ]) will know to who else u sent the copy of the e-mail and vice versa.. but if u put a recipient e-mail in Bcc that u wish to.. the original recipient can’t see who else got the copy of the e-mail.. waallllaaah… i bet it’s a new thing for u..
3rd is the [Subject : ] field.. in this field u should insert ur e-mail subject… but if u wish not to enter a subject.. u still can send the e-mail only that the recipient will get an e-mail with Subject : <no subject>
4th is the body of the e-mail where u insert the content of an e-mail…
5th is the attachment (things in red box) where u can attach multiple type of files like documents, spreadsheets, powerpoint presentations, pictures, songs, even softwares.. ( note : u can send an e-mail with only attachments without any body texts..)
that’s it.. simple right? then we go to the next most important thing i would like to highlight in this post… about replying an e-mail.. when u got an e-mail.. even the e-mail is sent to multiple recipients.. or the e-mail was sent with Cc and Bcc… if u reply as usual ( u click the reply button and just start composing) the only person that will get ur e-mail is the sender.. some protocols require u to reply to all..means… when u get a letter with Cc recipients..u have to reply to sender and send a copy to all the Cc recipients.. i bet u wont do it manually like copy and paste those e-mail addresses…so what’s the trick here? see the images below..
Yahoo! Mail
Live Mail
GMail
Yes! that’s it! you only have to click reply to all and all the recipient of that e-mail (except u) and the sender will get ur reply.. this is how u should reply an e-mail which meant to be received by many…. (if u wish to send a copy to u urself… it is wise if u put ur own e-mail address in [Bcc: ] field) that’s all guys.. till here.. hope this post could help u how to create an e-mail and how to reply the e-mail like a professional e-mail user! =)
